When a Move Is More Than a Move: Real Estate as a Life Transition
And yes, those things matter.
But in my experience, real estate is often about something deeper. It is about transition.
It is about the moment you realize your life is changing, and your home needs to change with it.

My real estate journey started long before it became my profession
My first real estate chapter began in 2001, when I bought my first home and stepped into the world of fixer-uppers, financing decisions, and learning as I went.
Over the next two decades, real estate became a thread woven through many seasons of my life. Growing a family. Managing more than one property. Navigating investment decisions. Letting go of a home that once held a dream. Making choices quickly under pressure. Learning what I wish I had known sooner.
Some chapters were exciting. Some were stressful. Some carried grief.
And each one taught me something about what home really means.
Why I believe home is rarely just about property
Buying and selling can bring up so much more than logistics.
It can bring up:
- Identity shifts and new beginnings
- Grief and letting go
- Hope, possibility, and a fresh start
- Family dynamics and hard conversations
- The desire for more ease, more space, or more support
Sometimes the move is practical.
And sometimes it is a turning point.
What I bring to my clients
I became a Real Estate Broker because I realized my lived experience mattered.
I have been through many types of transactions and ownership experiences, and I understand how emotional and high stakes this process can feel. I also bring a background in coaching, facilitation, and conscious leadership, which means I know how to stay grounded when things feel intense.
My approach is heart-centered, calm, and clear.
I believe stress is often inevitable in real estate, but suffering does not have to be.
My goal is to help you feel:
- Supported and informed
- Clear about what matters most
- Steady in the moments that feel uncertain
- Confident in the decisions you are making
If you are in a season of “what’s next”
If you are asking bigger questions about where you want to live, how you want to live, or what you are ready for in this next chapter, you are not alone.
Real estate can be a powerful doorway into a new season.
And you deserve a guide who understands both the practical steps and the human side of the journey.
